Books You Will Never Read

The Selection series by Kiera Cass

I have read book 1 and 2 in this series. I read them years ago when I was new to the YA genre.
I had several problems with the story, and I did not care for the writing. The only thing I liked about the books was the concept of The Batchelor like setting/story. I think I had liked the books even less if I had read them today.

The Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo

I have heard mixed reviews on this series, and that a lot of people don’t like it. I don’t want to waste reading time on books that I might not like.

The Duff by Kody Keplinger

I have watched the movie adaptation to this book. And I did not like the story.

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews

After watching a video by Peter Likes Books where he talks about this book. I don’t want to read it. I didn’t really want to read it before anyway. PS Check him out on Youtube here.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

I did not read Twilight as a teenager. I have only watched the first movie. I might have liked the books when I was 15, and have a nostalgic feeling towards the books today. But reading it now I don’t think I would like it very much. The romance in this book does not interest me at all. This is the only book on the list that I might actually try to read a little bit of to see what it is like. I’m curious about it because so many people likes it, and so many people hates it. I don’t know. Maybe watching the movies is a better option hehe.
