It’s this time of the month again. November is gone and December is upon us. I have to say it has been a weird month. A lot of things has happened, especially in the beginning. My parents was on a trip to China, I celebrated my birthday, Donald Trump became the president of the US, my grandfather died and I got a new cousin. All of this happened in just one week!
Now I’m looking forward to December and Christmas. I have a lot of fun things planned for this month. We have started decorating the house for Christmas, with Christmas stars in the windows and winter curtains in the living room.
My reading month: It has been a good reading month for me, I have finished reading 4 books. It feels like I have read more than I have, probably because I’m halfway through some books that I’ll continue reading in December. I have also participated in a 2 week long readathon. You can read about the Tome Topple readathon HERE.
Digital Idols by Jon Frater
I didn’t like this book. The main problem was the writing, it was just not for me. You can read my review of the book HERE. Rating: 1.5 stars
The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan
Book 2 in The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series
I love the second book in this series. It was very short, but fun to read. We get to know Percy and the world of the Olympians even more in this book. I really like the mythology aspects of the world, I think it is fun and creative. Can’t wait to read book 3. Rating: 4 stars
Heksejakten by Margit Sandemo
Book 2 in Sagaen om Isfolket series
I read about 70% of this book 10 months ago. I just wanted to finish it to get it out of my currently reading shelf. I don’t think I’ll be continuing with this series, maybe I’ll pick it up again in a couple of years. You can find the books for free on Nasjonalbiblioteket www.nb.no (in Norwegian). Rating: 2 stars
Tatiana and Alexander by Paullina Simons
Book 2 in the Bronze Horseman series
I really liked this book. It is beautifully written, and the story is so addicting and heartbreaking to read. This book made me so emotional and I had a knot in my stomach throughout the whole book. If you like historical fiction set in world war 2 with romance, I highly recommend this series. Rating: 4 stars
I only read two and a half books, it’s why I’m gonna combine my November and December wrap-ups.
