A lot of book lovers are also book hoarders, we simply buy too many books because we love them so much. I have a goal for 2017 to read as many of the books that is on my TBR shelves as possible. I really need to cut down on my TBR books and read the books that I have procrastinated picking up, some of them I have even owned for years. This is the books I really want to read in 2017, this list will not contain any new releases or 2017 releases as I don’t own them yet. Mistborn is awesome! Sanderson is one of my favorite authors 🙂 I hope you’ll enjoy it! I’m hoping to read This Savage Song in 2017 too. Though I plan to tackle A Darker Shade of Magic trilogy first. Hope we’ll both be able to read the books we want to read 🙂

I really need to read The Lies of Locke Lamora and I also want to start The Dresden Files, but that one is so daunting! That series has like a million books 😀 Oh, I want to read so many in this list. You have a great reading year ahead of you. 🙂 Happy holidays!

You have such a great selection of books here! It’s rather exciting that you get to read them for the first time. I sometimes think back on when I read LotR for the first time and didn’t yet know what would happen!

There’s a challenge I am taking part in called Beat The Backlist by Novelknight. It is a year long challenge where you try to read books from your TBR. I think that would be perfect for you. It’s no pressure, but if you want, you can earn points for your Hogwarts House, too. I’m doing it w/o the points, because I have 700 plus books on my TBR and I have to get some read instead of always going for the new books. I have a challenge I’m doing for my ARCs, too.
Something you might want to think about…

Ok, it’s not just me! I don’t know if it’s weird…but it seems common, and there’s a correlation…so I’m wondering if we all share certain traits? 🤔

Yeah. The trait we share is that we like books haha. I don’t know. I was sorted into ravenclaw on pottermore. It is very interesting.

I’m going to see if I can make a poll to see how many are in Ravenclaw…maybe then we can know if there is a patten. It would be a fun puzzle to solve!
