In December last year I did a post on every book I have read in 2016. I thought it would be fun to do a mid year post about all the books I have read so far in 2017. As of 30. May I have read 41 books, that is 17 books ahead of my Goodreads goal of 50 books. I will finish my goal way before the end of the year, so I might have to bump it up a bit.

You should do it too. It’s fun to look back on 🙂 I’ll do one big post by the end of the year with all the books I have read in 2017.

I already did a quick overview in this post : https://brilliantlybookishsite.wordpress.com/2017/06/27/how-diverse-have-i-read-mid-year-check-up/#more-7189 So I don’t think I’ll do one now, but I’ll definitely do it at the end of the year!

If I was 17 books ahead of schedule instead of only 3 I would totally steal this idea! I’ll definitely consider this as an end-of-year wrap though! Great idea!

You should to it 😊 3 books ahead isn’t bad. What is your goal?

My goal is 60 books this year. Doesn’t touch some of the epic goals out there, but it’s a nice baby step to get me moving in the right direction! =D

60 books is a great goal. Mine is 50 :p but I’m going to bump it up to 70

Yeah – I wanted to bump it up past 60 because at top of year I was averaging like 7 books per month, but then I guess life happened lol

I read a lot of shorter MG books earlier this year, I don’t think I can read 50 books that are 350+ pages the rest of the year. So 70 books is perfect for me I think. If I read more I’ll bump it up again 😛 7 books a month is a lot 🙂 i totally understand, life happens to me aswell.
