The plan was to not pick too many books for this month, because of my reading/blog pause in January. But guess what this TBR is on the larger side for me. I always over estimate myself with these TBR lists haha, but it is great to have different options.
Books I Want To Continue Reading
The Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch
Book 3 in The Gentleman Bastards
80% read. I am almost finished with this book. It is the last one in The Gentleman Bastards series that is currently out. I’m in LOVE with this series and this book, and I don’t want it to end. This book series, especially book 1 and 3 is incredible and have become my all time favorite books.
Morning Star by Pierce Brown
Book 3 in Red Rising
28% read. I took a break from this book because of the Biannual Bibliothon, and didn’t pick it up again. Now I want to continue reading this book and hopefully finish it in February. I really enjoy this series, and so far this book is really exciting.
Final Girls by Riley Sager
16% read. I received this book as an eArc from Netgalley. I don’t know what I feel about it yet, but I want to continue reading it.
Books I Want To Start
The Book of Strange New Things by Michel Faber
Every month I’m going to randomly pick one book from my Beat The Backlist Challenge list that I have to read. This month I randomly generated the letter F, and I picked The Book of Strange New Things by Michel Faber to read.
The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan
Book 3 in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians
I need to have some books that is easy and fun to read this month. I really like this middle grade fantasy series and I bet a lot of you do too.
The Miserable Mill by Lemony Snicket
Book 4 in A Series of Unfortunate Events
The Austere Academy by Lemony Snicket
Book 5 in A Series of Unfortunate Events
The Ersatz Elevator by Lemony Snicket
Book 6 in A Series of Unfortunate Events
The Vile Village by Lemony Snicket
Book 7 A Series of Unfortunate Events
I have so much fun reading this children’s series, even though I’m an adult and not the target audience for it. I really like the humor and the narrator in this series, and that the story often gets really dark. I wish I had read the books as a kid, I would probably be shit scared of Count Olaf and his companions. The books are really short so I’m planning on reading 4 of the books in February. I want to read all of the books in the series before I watch the new Netflix show.
The Girl From Old Nichol by Betty Annand
I received this book as an eArc from Netgalley. I have started it (because this post is a bit late). I don’t know if I like it so far.
THE SNOW CHILD BY EOWYN IVEY
This book was on my TBR last month, but I didn’t pick it up. I hope to get to it this month. I really want to read it before the winter is over.
